چکیده
Bacterial canker of tomato is a systemic disease caused by Clavibacter michiganensis (Cm), which poses grave threat to production worldwide. Towards the identification genes underlying resistance Cm infection, transcriptome resistant inbred backcross line IBL2353 carrying Rcm2.0 locus derived from Solanum habrochaites LA407 and susceptible lycopersicum Ohio88119 was comparatively analyzed after inoculation, analysis focused on with different expression patterns between lines. Gene ontology (GO) revealed that top terms differentially expressed comprised ubiquitin protein ligases, transcription factors, receptor kinases. Then we screened out some are potentially associated defense response against infection in including wall-associated kinase-like 20 (WAKL20), virus-induced gene silencing showed it contributes infection. In addition Cm-induced related resistance, eight homologs six susceptibility (S) families analyzed. These putative valuable resources for molecular breeding contribute development new control methods tomato.

Pyramiding of genes conferring resistance to Tomato yellow leaf curl virus from different wild tomato species
Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) production in tropical and subtropical regions of the world is limited by the endemic presence of Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). Breeding programmes aimed at producing TYLCV-resistant tomato cultivars have utilized resistance sources derived from wild tomato species. So far, all reported breeding programmes have introgressed TYLCV resistance from a single w...

OBJECTIVES Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic, inflammatory arthritis and autoimmune disease. BACKGROUND The main symptom of AS is inflammatory spinal pain; with time, some patients develop ankylosis and spinal immobility. We aim to find cure available for ankylosing spondylitis. MATERIALS AND METHODS We used the GSE11886 series to identify potential genes that related to AS to constr...

متن کاملGenomic Analysis of Hospital Plumbing Reveals Diverse Reservoir of Bacterial Plasmids Conferring Carbapenem Resistance
The hospital environment is a potential reservoir of bacteria with plasmids conferring carbapenem resistance. Our Hospital Epidemiology Service routinely performs extensive sampling of high-touch surfaces, sinks, and other locations in the hospital. Over a 2-year period, additional sampling was conducted at a broader range of locations, including housekeeping closets, wastewater from hospital i...
